THIS IS A KOREAN WAR PERIOD SOLDIER'S SOUVENIR POOL STICK. IT IS GREEN DYED WOOD WITH CARVED PLACES MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS WOULD HAVE VISITED. THE STICK IS CARVED AND PAINTED WITH NAMES OF JAPANESE AND KOREAN SITES. WE SEE CARVED BOMBER AIRPLANES, BOMBS AND A RIFLE CARVED IN THE STICK. IT SHOWS KOREA AND THE 38TH PARALLEL. THE POOL STICK IS DISGUISED AS A WALKING STICK. THE BOTTOM HALF OF THE POOL STICK FITS INSIDE THE HOLLOW PORTION OF THE TOP OF THE STICK. IT HAS LIGHT SCRATCHING AND A BIT OF DETERIORATION TO THE BRASS FITTINGS. OTHERWISE, IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. IT PROBABLY DATES FROM EARLY 1950s.
