THIS IS A METALWORK ARTIST PIECE. IT WAS CREATED BY FRANK SECKLER. HE HAS A GALLERY IN TAOS, NEW MEXICO. THIS IS A METAL SIDE TABLE. HE HAS A UNIQUE TECHNIQUE WITH METAL THAT CREATED SHADES OF COLOR ON THE METAL. THIS TABLE MEASURES 24.5" IN HEIGHT AND 20" IN WIDTH.
ARTIST BIO:
For over a decade Frank Seckler has been creating metal art. He has concentrated on developing patinas intended to bring warmth, vibrancy and texture to his steel pieces and on combining his love of color and the design process to create not only beautiful but functional work as well.
Seckler spent time at the Rhode Island School of Design and finished his degree in fine art at Lewis and Clark College. He worked for several well-known artists and sculptors during his summers and then opened Seckler Studio in Taos, New Mexico in 1989. At first he made exclusivel Southwest petroglyph inspired furniture, but in 1998 he decided to focus on both his contemporary line of work as well as other primitive works.
