Product Overview

Ideal for use in large sized rooms, this 28,000 BTU window-mount air conditioner offers three fan speeds to quickly and effectively cool large spaces. This unit is perfectly sized for large living spaces up to approximately 1050 - 1600 square feet in size. That is a room that is about 30' x 35'. Convenient features such as a full function remote control, sleep mode to keep the room just right for sleeping without over- or under-cooling. The FHWC282WB2 includes a fresh air vent which draws in fresh outdoor air which in turns prevents the recirculation of stale indoor air! The easy to clean filter helps to keep your unit working efficiently and will even notify you when it's time to clean the filter with a Clean Filter Alert.

Sleep Mode gradually increases the temperature over the course of the evening so as the evening cools down you will not get too cold or have to get up to lower the set temperature on your air conditioner. Another featured mode is ECO Mode that will automatically turn your air conditioner on and off at different intervals to ensure that your room stays at the set temperature. The six way directional air flow helps to keep all corners of the room comfortable. The FHWC282WB2 features a slide-out chassis and also includes a pleated quick mount window kit with support hardware. The unit can be installed in a window or through the wall. The 60" long, 6-30 three-prong power cord eliminates the need for extension cords, for added ease and convenience.

Gone are the days of walking into a hot stuffy home or apartment at the end of the day. With the FHWC282WB2 you can program your air conditioner to make sure your home is the right temperature when you arrive. Plus, the built-in programmable 24 hour timer allows you to pre-set the unit to turn on and off in half hour increments.

The FHWC282WB2 uses 208/230 volt electricity with a 30 amp circuit, a slide-out chassis and R-32 refrigerant. It can be installed in a window or as a thru-the-wall installation.

This model meets the requirements for use in California.
