Rare and very hard to find ( IF ANY )Bronze High Relief Plate or Medallion named "Europa" from the Hamilton Mint 1972. ( Inscription on the backside) - Astrology scenes.
This piece weighs in at 26 lbs of solid bronze. It is signed in the plate by the artists ( see photos ).
It looks like this plate has not gone through a finishing process as you can see on the backside of the plate - signs of casting gate areas still intact.
Measures 14 5/8" in dia. Excellent condition.
I have a suspicion that these never went into general production - there is nothing out there to compare these too.
